Association for Union Democracy

I send a small donation to the Association for Union Democracy, thinking I'm doing the right thing. Well, you know what they say about good deeds going punished...

Before I knew it, I was getting called over and over by these guys, begging for more money. I tried to be patient and explain that I'm on the DONOTCALL registry. Finally, I ask to talk to a supervisor.

They transfer me to some clerk named Miriam Lazewatsky (I think I got the name right; she was chewing like a cow on something on the phone...hard to hear her over the smacking...) Well. I have never encountered such a rude, bitter, snotty, snobbish person in some time! Miss Lazewatsky told me that _I_ gave _them_ the right to call by making a donation! So I tell the girl to take me off the list. The clerk goes OFF on me! She upbraids me with all sorts of nasty language, then snotily asks, "you DO realize I have a divinity degree from HAHVAHD, you know?" (I was tempted to tell this girl that, with an attitude like hers, its no wonder she can't get better work than as a phonejockey!)

I think I finally succeeded in getting off their damn list. My next step will be the FTC.

Learned my lesson: NEVER give a PENNY to the Association for Union Democracy unless you want to duel with their nasty HAHVAHD clerk to STOP FRIGGIN CALLING!
