Eaton Canyon Treatment Center

AVOID Eaton Canyon Treatment Center, in Pasadena, California.
This is a scam facility whose owners claim to treat addicts, but they never treat anyone. The owners only entice addicts and their families with the photos of the clean facility, in the hills of Pasadena, but that's where the "niceness" ends. The owners, 2 black guys, are criminals who have been arrested numerous times for crimes ranging from major theft and fraud, to assault and attempted murder.
The owners are hardened criminals who have no problem scamming residents out of their money and then intimidating them so that they do not report the new crimes to police.
I am a former resident.
Here is what happened:
I referred there by Shirley Bennet of Pasadena Recovery Center (another rehab under investigation , for illegal activities).
The woman, Shirley Bennett, a was relative of the swindler owners and would receive a cut of each referral (all unknown to me at the time). Eaton Canyon Treatment Center is extremely expensive.
WARNING:
They also lie and falsely claim that they'll have your insurance reimburse you, if you pay up front. That's all another lie by the cunning ghetto owners.
Anyways, I fought hard to get the money to attend. I was fooled, though.
Because I was under sentence by a court, they took advantage of my position and, despite the fact that I was a paying resident, they intimidated, threatened, harassed, abused, even assaulted me, made me miserable and terrified the entire time until the day I left.
They wanted to keep my money and terrify me into leaving early, so that they could have another paying victim in my place.
They used various tactics to intimidate and scare me.
They have no fears and, of course, no ethics.
They never have the necessary AA or NA Meetings. They never educate anyone on recovery or anything else.
The other residents are spoiled rich kids who are only there to be babysat while mommy and daddy find another solution.
During "rest periods," when I wanted to be alone to actually rest or read in my room (that I paid for), the staff would repeatedly attack me about being a "loner," and then actually ridicule me during discussion periods with the other residents, all in order to create problems and wreak havok.
The owners and staff even pushed me out of my private room and put another resident in ther and threatened me into shutting up about it.
When I dared to answer back, they used a new guerilla tactic:
They waited until the middle of the dead of night to barge into my room, shine a flashlight on me, and start threatening to have me arrested and sent back to jail, if I did not pay extra.
I was not guilty of any wrongdoing, but I was scared, because I knew that they could have one of their criminal hired guns say or do anything.
There is a very strong criminal element here.
Do not be fooled by the exterior facade of this so-called "Luxury" facility.
In reality, it is really a criminal dump.
There are many other much more nicer, affordable, and effective rehabs in and around Pasadena, California.
